My name is Eran Sadeh. I am Israeli. I am Jewish.
I was born 43 years ago in Tel Aviv, a healthy baby with a perfect body. 8 days after I was born one man held my tiny legs down while another man cut a part of my penis off with a knife.
I was in pain, I screamed, I bled. It’s over. But the part that was cut off from my penis is forever gone.
36 years later my son was born. Two days before Continue reading

I am proud and moved that James Loewen has chosen to use the ‘Just a Snip’ illustration by Svend Eide Joensen of a cross tattooed to a child’s forehead to illustrate this remarkable example of intactivism. Karen Kelly Glennon demonstrates how knowledgeable respectful communication about genital mutilation can move a person, who is initially very convinced of his stand on the issue. See the video below and take the chance to check out some of the other great videos James has posted on the channel. It’s highly informative.

A.K. has sent us these videos demonstrating Muslim circumcisions. Continue reading
Circumcised men and their partners experience sexual dysfunctions more frequently that intact men and their partners a scientific study performed by Prof. Morten Frisch (et al9 suggests. The research team suggests further studies on the subject which suggests that the negative consequences of circumcision even in seemingly successful cases can be far reaching.

So why do I oppose circumcision? I’ll let Penn & Teller explain it, they’re so much more entertaining than I could ever hope to be. Afterwards you’ll also fully understand why I prefer ‘genital cutting’ or ‘genital mutilation’ to the word ‘circumcision’.
Jewish Scholar Miriam Pollack discusses male genital cutting (aka circumcision/genital mutilation) from a Jewish perspective. Many interesting and enlightened points.
